He has such a passion for his work, and it’s contagious. His work baby with Veronica Heringer is APG Canada.
They “…are a group of account planners and strategists who want to leave a mark in the industry.”
He kindly invited me to the very first APG Canada event, SXSW Postcards and it took place last week. It was an interactive panel of speakers, and they shared their personal highlights from SXSW (an annual music, interactive and film festival in Austin, Texas – it’s MASSIVE in size and influence).
My iPhone pictures and select tweets from friends throughout the night:
Hostess with the mostess is Laurie Dillon-Schalk, a Planning Director from @DraftFCB.

MORE COLES NOTES > > SXSW is worth going to. It will challenge your brain. Go if you can afford it, and more importantly if you can book a place in Austin! Apparently, some people book a hotel or house more than one year advance of the event. WHAT.
Also, kudos to APG Canada for keeping us fed and hydrated! I love it when event organizers are considerate like that especially when it takes place at dinner hour. My friend @MlleTravelista and I definitely enjoyed the pulled pork sliders – yum.
Next event is #CannesPostcards in August later this year – more information to come here.
